Most locations display their actual geographic boundaries. Some locations show a circular placeholder when detailed boundary data isn't available. These circles are sized correctly based on the location's area, so size comparisons remain accurate.
The comparison panel shows key statistics for each selection. The colored bars indicate which location has a higher value for each metric.
